Here’s an example of one of the more surreal moments experienced on our travels, and other notes on our journey so far…

Todos Santos is really cool. It has a great vibe, incredible food, good beaches and it would be easy to get lost there for a couple days or a couple years.

As long back as I can remember, my mother taught me to save. What allowance there was, was always separated out into tithing, saving and spending. Even the tooth fairy was not spared. That dollar under the pillow in return for extracted teeth got divided out, too....

What I want my days in pandemic-time self-imposed Mexican exile (Mexile?) to look like, versus what they actually end up being.

I guess it comes down to this: I’m privileged enough to it have criteria. But, meeting all the criteria does not make life perfect. The right place, be it a dwelling or a physical location, is often a feel more than a place. There has to be a spark. There needs to be an emotion tied to it.
